The Poweshiek County Democrats will hold their October Central Committee meeting on Tuesday, October 22 at Paglai’s (816 5th Avenue) in Grinnell. Some Democrats will meet for dinner at 6 p.m., with the official meeting to begin at 7 p.m. Anyone interested in the local Democratic Party or in caucusing for Democrats in 2020 is welcome to attend.

US Senate candidate Michael Franken was originally scheduled to speak at this event, but had a scheduling conflict. He will come to Grinnell on another date.
