DESCRIPTION:Come meet Tim Gannon\, the Democratic candidate for Secretary of Agriculture\, and Rob Sand\, the Democratic candidate for State Auditor. We will also be joined by Senator Jeff Merkley of Oregon\, who has been one of the leading voices in Congress against the Trump Administration’s immigration policies and for the release of all government records regarding Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Merkley’s Blue Wave Project supports candidates in down-ballot races to help build up the Democratic Party from the grassroots level. \nWe will host Tim\, Rob and Jeff at the Poweshiek County Democratic Headquarters (928 Main Street in Grinnell) on Friday\, October 12. Hors d’oeuvres available starting at 4 p.m. and candidates speak at 5 p.m. Rob and Tim are part of the ticket helping to build a long-term Democratic Party plan for Iowa starting in 2018. Come hear about their plan to help build the Blue Wave in Iowa!
