DESCRIPTION:The Poweshiek Democrats hold their Soup Supper this Sunday\, November 5 at the First Presbyterian Church (1025 5th Avenue) in Grinnell beginning at 5 p.m. \nJoin Democrats from around our county for a discussion of the challenges our communities face and the Democratic Party’s approach to addressing them. The evening will feature remarks from Patty Judge\, Iowa’s former lieutenant governor and secretary of agriculture; Nate Boulton\, candidate for governor; Jim Mowrer\, candidate for secretary of state; Jason Roudabush\, candidate for Poweshiek County supervisor; and Troy Price\, the chair of the Iowa Democratic Party. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students\, with all proceeds going to support the local Democratic Party.
