SUMMARY:Grinnell City Candidate Forum
DESCRIPTION:Candidates for Grinnell City offices will be participating in a public forum sponsored by the Grinnell League of Women Voters (LWV) and Grinnell Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday\, October 17 at 7 pm. It will be a hybrid forum both in-person at Drake Community Library and over Zoom. \nThe candidates for mayor are Dan Agnew\, Gary Glandon\, and Kamal Hammouda. Byron Hueftle-Worley is running for the Council At Large seat. Jo Wray is running for the Ward 2 seat. Matt Karjalahti and Robert Corry Jr. are running for one available seat in Ward 4. \nEach of the candidates will have an opportunity to present opening statements and will then answer questions. As in the past\, the League asks that questions be submitted at least 48 hours before the forum at grinnelllwv@gmail.com. \nTo register to attend this forum on Zoom\, click HERE. You will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the Zoom meeting.
